Queen of Cups Parts 1 & 2.

A few copies of the Queen of Cups Parts 1 & 2 have been distributed but were immediately put on hold as there were issues with the trimming of the rear cover. The rear cover has now been reset and uploaded for publication. There is an upside. There is an upside, however. Anyone who has one of these copies - hold on to them as they will be quite collectable. Copies of I AM SAM and S63 are currently changing hands for well over £100.

Queen of Cups Parts 1 & 2. Finally. Ready to Go.

Queen of Cups follows on from the stories in Part 1 - I AM SAM and Part 2- ITV 7.

As a book, Queen of Cups is the biggest undertaking that I have ever done.
If you have a vivid imagination, writing fiction is relatively easy. To write fact even more so - but to make them both readable and enjoyable is a completely different thing all together and to intertwine the two and combine the fiction into the fact and vice-versa and still make them both readable and enjoyable is one hell of a feat.

The difference with Queen of Cups is that it is very subjective, much darker, more beautiful and certainly funnier - especially as the third part of the Trilogy, deals with both the ex-England international Alan Hudson and his alter-ego - that of "Huddy". For me, to characterise Alan took months and months to perfect and was something that I took great pleasure from doing.

In part, Queen of Cups is three-dimensional, with the story being told by three people, one of who is the main character. ITV 7 and to a degree I AM SAM were also multi-dimensional - however Queen of Cups is much, much different.

As I have said, there has never been a football-based book like it.

Subjective, Dark, Beautiful and Funny

There has never been a football-based book like it - ever.

QUEEN OF CUPS

(Part's 1 and 2)

The follow-up to both I AM SAM and ITV 7, the Queen of Cups is now complete.

Part 1 is 450 pages

Part 2 is 440 pages

For two years I've lived the characters, learned a lot of Arsenal history and met and spoke to lots of wonderful people.

I am extremely fortunate to do what I do and I look forward to sharing the completed story, which I feel will blow both it predecessors - I AM SAM and ITV 7 away.

There has never been a football-based book like it - of that I can assure you.

QUEEN OF CUPS

I finally got closure on the forthcoming Queen of Cups, which by the look of it will be last part of what is possibly a first - a four book Trilogy.

I had a word count of 287,885 pre-edit which if it was going to go as one book would be a bit heavy at around 1,000 pages, therefore it is possibly better to split it into Parts 1 and 2.
